Course InformationButtonhole Designs runs a range of craft courses in Ashford, Kent giving you the opportunity to learn that new craft! Courses are usually limited to 7 people and group bookings are available for 5 or more people with a 10% discount! Learn to Needle Felt - Beginners Course - £25Fancy a go at needle felting but don't know where to start? Come on this 2 hour workshop and have a go! Leave with your very own felted project. Learn to Knit - Beginners Course - £35 An absolute beginners course teaching you the basics of knitting, by the end of which you will have created several small projects and have the skills to create many knitted items. A 3 hour course including materials spaced across three weeks. Learn to Crochet - Beginners Course - £35 An absolute beginners course teaching you the basics of crochet, by the end of which you will have created several small projects and have the skills to create many crocheted items. A 3 hour course including materials spaced across three weeks. Yarn Craft - an introduction - £12 A look into the world of yarn craft, knitting in its many forms, crochet, and more. An hour long taster session in which you can find out a bit about many crafts to help you decide which is the one for you! Learn to Knit - Intermediate - £55 Follows on from the beginners course. Learn more advanced stitches and techniques including cables. This course is suitable for someone who can knit a scarf but not much else! A four week course including materials. Learn to Crochet - Intermediate - £55 Follows on from the beginners course. Learn more advanced stitches and techniques. This course is suitable for the crocheter who wants to learn more interesting combinations of stitches. A four week course including materials. Learn to read crochet patterns - £15 Can you crochet but have no idea how to read a written pattern or a pattern grid? Then this is the course for you! A 1 hour course inc materials. Learn to Tunisian Crochet - £35 Tunisian crochet using a longer hook that holds the stitches, similar to when knitting. A 3 hour course including materials. Learn to Loom Knit - £65 Can't quite get the hang of knitting with needles? Why not learn to loom knit! Great for those with poor dexterity. A 3 hour course including materials, spaced over 3 weeks. Seasonal CraftsYarn Craft Seasonal - Price varies Making small seasonal projects out of yarn using knitting and crochet. A two hour session. Crafty Fun - Price varies Card making, sewing, glass painting, embossing – a couple of hours of being creative, several projects will be demonstrated – choose what you make! Learn to knit a Christmas Stocking in time for Christmas!! - £35 Exactly what it says on the tin, suitable for beginners. Go home before Christmas Eve with your Fair Isle Christmas stocking ready to hang! Christmas Craft Party - £7.50 per person inc materials Host a Christmas craft party at your house! A craft workshop in which we make a felt christmas tree decoration - suitable for beginners. £7.50 per person which includes all materials. (paper/card and your machine) A two hour session. NEW!! Learn the art of tea bag paper folding. - £15 Tea bag folding uses some of the techniques of Origami combined with tiny squares of patterned paper. Once folded these squares are combined in attractive geometric patterns to form a larger design. The art of tea bag folding is said to have been born when a clever Dutch crafter decided to work with the decorative envelopes used to hold fruit tea bags. As the craft developed specially printed sheets have been produced with patterned squares ready to cut out and fold. Payment is available via paypal or cheque Please enquire about availability before sending payment. Terms and Conditions A booking fee of half the total course price is payable on booking, the remainder is payable on the date of the first day of the course. Cancellations:- The booking fee is non refundable. Cancellation of the course up to 2 weeks before the event is allowed after which the full cost of the course will be payable. Transferring a course to another person is acceptable provided the course hasn't started. |
